Due to overwhelming demand and a lot of disappointed folk who weren’t notified of our limited edition by Facebook, we’ve been asked if we could extend the run from 25 to 50. As much as we’d love to accommodate everyone who missed out, we felt it would be unfair to those who thought they were buying one of only 25 copies if it suddenly turned out that there were now 50 available. But we also wanted to do whatever we could to give everyone the same opportunity in terms of the ridiculous cover art and the additional tracks not found on the regular “Jolliest of Times” single. So, we’ve introduced a variation on the existing Christmas EP. Same track listing, same glorious gatefold packaging, vinyl CD, inner sleeve… but we’ve changed the artwork and we’ve removed the limited aspect. We hope that, in doing this, we’ve been able to offer the original customers their limited product while allowing those who missed out to still enjoy the full tracklisting and quirky artwork.
You will still get the tracks and a different sticker (we can’t let you have the same sticker as the limited set as it was designed to be exclusive) but the set will NOT be numbered. The quantity produced will remain unknown as they’ll be produced to order but we WILL remove them from the store at some point in 2025 so, in that sense, it’ll still technically be limited but not to a certain quantity or numbered. You’ll receive:
- The Jolliest of Times (our 2024 Christmas single)
- Out in the Fields (classic Gary Moore and Phil Lynott cover)
- I’m Alive (cover from Helloween’s amazing first Keeper album)
- Turbo Tyrant (reworking of the TANTRUM classic… faster, longer, angrier)
- O Holy Night (you may have heard it on South Park… or a church, I suppose)
This very special “fan-demand” edition comes with:
- Full gatefold edition with vintage tongue-in-cheek artwork, 1800s style.
- Vintage vinyl-style CD with retro label (inspired by Edison himself, creator of the phonograph)
- Inner sleeve with the (very) short story “TANTRUM: A Frosty Fiasco”
- Includes an exclusive vintage-photo sticker
As before, you’ll have the option to include the standalone “Jolliest of Times” single with no additional shipping cost.
